An open source application for storing, editing, and searching notes or "thoughts".

There are many times when I have come across a bit of information that makes me think, "I bet I could really use this information in the future, but I'll probably forget it." Every time that would happen I would wish that I had a program that I could quickly enter the information in so that I could search for it later. That way, all I would have to remember is that I had come across the information. Then all I would have to do is search my notes for it. I find that I usually remember that I came across some information rather than also remembering what the information was. These notes could be bookmarks, little facts, or even a full article.

I began writing the basis for the application for an honors project. I plan to continue to add more features to the application with the ultimate goal of linking notes to other data like calendars and email.

My main goal is to make it quick and easy to find what you're looking for, and if you don't find it, to add it. Editing existing notes is implied :)
